Privacy Policy

MobilenSoft ("we," "our," or "us") built PodXpress ("the App") as a podcast player application for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles information when you use it.

By using PodXpress, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Summary

PodXpress does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email, or any personal information, and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking. All of your data — your subscriptions, listening history, playback positions, downloads, and settings — is stored locally on your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or contact details.
• Account credentials (the App has no accounts or sign-in).
• Advertising identifiers or tracking data.
• Analytics or usage statistics.
• Location data.
• Your photos or media library.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

The following data is created and stored only on your device, and is never sent to us:

• Subscriptions — the podcasts you follow.
• Playback data — listening history, saved playback positions, and played/unplayed status.
• Downloads — episodes you save for offline listening.
• Playlists and queue — episodes you line up to play.
• App preferences — theme, playback speed, skip intervals, and other settings.

This data remains on your device and is removed when you delete the App.

4. Network Connections to Third Parties

To provide its core functionality, the App connects directly to third-party services. We do not control these services, and your requests go to them, not to us. Each service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data.

Apple Podcasts Directory

Used to search for and discover podcasts. Your search queries are sent to Apple's podcast directory to return matching results.

Podcast Hosting Providers

When you subscribe to or play a podcast, the App downloads the show's public RSS feed, audio files, and artwork directly from the host that publishes that feed.

Google Fonts

The App may load fonts from Google's font service to render its interface. See Google's Privacy Policy.

These third parties may receive your device's IP address and standard request information as a normal part of delivering content over the internet.

5. Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Notifications — to inform you about new episodes and download status.
• Storage / Files — to download episodes for offline playback and to import or export subscription lists (OPML).
• Photo Library — a sharing component included in the App references this capability; the App does not access your photos during normal use.

You can manage or revoke these permissions at any time in your device's Settings.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not operate our own servers to collect or store any of your data remotely. The only data leaving your device consists of the direct requests to the third-party content providers described in Section 4, which are necessary to discover and stream podcasts.

7. Children's Privacy

PodXpress does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Podcast content is provided by third parties and is not controlled by us.

8. Your Rights

Because all data is stored locally on your device, you have direct control over it. You can:

• Remove individual episodes from Continue Listening or History, or clear them entirely, within the App.
• Delete downloads and subscriptions within the App.
• Revoke notification or storage permissions in iOS Settings.
• Uninstall the App, which removes all locally stored data.

If you are in the European Economic Area (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have additional rights regarding your personal data. Since we do not collect or store personal data, these are exercised directly through the controls above. For any questions, contact us at info@mobilensoft.com.

9. Data Security

Because PodXpress does not collect or transmit personal data to us, there is no personal information on our servers to be compromised. Network requests to third-party content providers use standard secure (HTTPS) connections where supported by those providers. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
